THE PCs

Forb (aka Soralbain Bluffcrest)
Neutral male changeling rogue 2
Forb is a changeling, often taking the form of his former master, the late Soralbain Bluffcrest. Soralbain was a master inquisitive in Shoris, City of Towers, and Forb is now emulating that to find Soralbain’s killer. Of course, Forb has a little less experience than Soralbain, but he’ll level up eventually.

Eveliandre (aka Andy)
Chaotic Good male human artificer 2
Rescued from the devestation of Cerrid caused by the Devestation 4 years ago, Andy awoke from unconsciousness without a memory of his past life. Now the 18-year-old works for his blacksmithing mentor Flor in a tiny village, using his magical aptitude and Godmark of Making—which he has been told to hide—to boost Flor’s poor business. Who was he in his past life? Will the House of Making discover his mark? Will he ever grow up?

Lisand
Neutral male human explorer 2
Lisand Groole is a pulp action explorer, plumbing and plundering the depths of ancient civilizations for historical interest and profit alike. Well-rounded and skilled in many situations, Lisand nonetheless seems to have horrible luck on a regular basis. Lisand ultimately wants to join the prestigious Farwind Institute of explorers and to that end seeks to spread his reputation for being amazing.

Jordan
Lawful Good male human paladin 2
Jordan Blacksteel is a foul-mouthed holy warrior of the Golden Fire from Thassin, dedicated to the eradication of evil--ostensibly. Generally he just likes bull rushing enemies into walls or off cliffs, but hey, whatever works. He constantly struggles with his paladin vows, which require honour, chastity, and no criminal record. Thank the Fire they don't include a clause on language.
Ava
Chaotic Good female elf bard 2
Ava is a beautiful songstress from the godmarked House of Entertainment--a house that secretly plies the information trade with their elite performer-spies. Ava has been roped into this business like the rest of the family, and despite a simpler desire to just become the greatest bard in Shoris, follows the orders of her superiors with gusto. Of course, she still has a thing or two to learn about spying.
Chassis
Lawful Evil male-personality warforged ranger 2
Chassis has been described at various times as a "Vengeance-Fueled Robot," "Doctor Skincollector" and "Snugglycuddlekins" (though the person who called him the latter is sadly no longer with us). One of a race of magical constructs somehow given true life, Chassis was abandoned by his apparently-human creator for some unknown defect, without memories of his past. He now seeks to kill all humans in his path until he can get revenge on those who wronged him. What a nice sentiment.
Tor (aka Julian Greycloak, aka Thane ir'Chass)
Neutral Good male changeling rogue 2
The adopted nephew of a Bariland nobleman with a tragic past, Tor is in training to join the Bariland Feds. Possessed with a fierce loyalty to his homeland, Tor will stop at nothing to protect it, even if it means sleeping with every girl in the lower city in order to... well... no, that has very little to do with protecting Bariland. But apparently hanging out with irritating adventurers does, so he'll suffer through it.

THE NPCs

Theorin Haldar
An experienced adventurer and explorer of Shoris’s “undercity,” Theorin was a member of the prestigious Farwind guild. Then he got himself killed. Such is the life of an adventurer.

Gregory Artan
An adventuring companion to Theorin, and a member of the Farwinds from the theocracy Thassin in the north.

Flor
Small-town blacksmith who took Eveliandre in and raised him to help her sagging blacksmithing business. And by “help” she meant “become.”

Gerris
Gerris is a member of the House of Making, and possesses a Godmark of Making. He's a bit of a wanderer, and tries to get Eveliandre to join the house.

Ember
Ember is a battlecrafted, a magical construct imbued with life and created in the World War. She lives her life since the end of the war as a blacksmith in Shoris. She has some minor skill in magic, which she uses to augment her craft, much like many other crafters across the world.

Father Ilian
An old priest of the Golden Fire and mentor to Jordan in Thassin.

Farsin Flamehand
A young level-headed paladin of the Golden Fire out to fight evil and bring justice to the world. So, basically the opposite of Jordan.

Lord Everin
An experienced member of the House of Entertainment, and Ava's direct superior. It's possible he's being punished for something. Also, one BAMF.

Trent Taarnis
A member of the criminal House of Darkness, with unknown motives and a nice ass.

Kissiln
An elf of the House of Art who tricked Ava into giving him sensitive information.

Lord ir'Kiln
A nobleman of Korrisan who sent Chassis looking for a man with a corrupted godmark.

Kaas Nyrin
The previously unnamed agent of Lord ir'Kiln with whom Chassis is to keep contact. His importance is debatable.

Sacar ir'Chass
Bariland nobleman and adoptive uncle of Tor, Sacar has connections to the Bariland Feds.

Seeva ir'Elar
Bariland noblewoman who thinks little of the Bariland king.

Sarik ir'Naith
Bariland nobleman (see a pattern?) and supporter of the crown.

Lyra Boranor
Shoris City Councillor and eldest daughter of the Boranor Clan criminal mob.

Heather ir'Win
Korrisan princess on exchange to Bariland to help promote peace between the two countries after the continent-wide War that ended a mere two years ago.
